Mac CSV to Unix CSV Convertor
This drag & drop utility makes FileMaker and other Mac CSV files Unix compatible.
To convert a file that contains Mac carriage returns to a Unix compatible one simply drag the file or a bunch of files onto the application icon. It will create correponding files with unix.csv appended to their names.
MacCSV2UnixCSV converts carriage returns from old style Mac format to Unix friendly line feeds. Such files are typically created by applications like Excel and FileMaker. It also removes double-quotes from the data. HSTracker which is built using the FileMaker engine outputs CSV files in the old format, so this utility could be useful for HSTracker users who need to import the data to MySQL for example.
Simply move MacCSV2UnixCSV to the trash.
